Saturday's game available on pay-per-view
Vanderbilt officials today announced the Commodores’ football game Saturday at Mississippi State will be available throughout the state of Tennessee on a pay-per-view basis to subscribers of Comcast and Charter.
“We have worked hard to put this arrangement together as a service to our fans,” says David Williams, Vice Chancellor for University Affairs and Athletics. “We realize there is tremendous interest in our team and wanted to bring this game into the living room for those unable to travel to Starkville.”
The Commodores, 5-0 for the first time since 1943 and 3-0 in Southeastern Conference play, are seeking their first victory in Starkville since 1971. Kickoff for the game is 1:30 p.m., CT.
Fans in Tennessee can order the October 11 game through their local, participating cable provider for $29.95. Comcast and Charter will offer the game in Nashville, Memphis, Knoxville, Chattanooga and other areas throughout the state.
